eSprinter Range Loss: What Corona EV Owners Should Know
Short answer
eSprinter range loss traces to battery health, thermal management, or charging system faults. Diagnosing it requires proper high voltage tooling and safety procedures to read the pack and its management system and identify the true cause.
Range loss has several causes
Reduced range is a symptom, not a diagnosis. It can come from cell degradation, a thermal management issue that keeps the pack out of its ideal range, or a charging fault that never fully replenishes the battery. Corona heat makes thermal performance especially relevant.
Why proper tooling matters
The high voltage battery is the most expensive part of the van, and guessing around it is both wrong and dangerous. We read cell health and thermal data, evaluate the charging system, and determine whether the pack, charging, or thermal system is at fault before recommending anything.
