Sprinter Battery Draining Overnight in Corona? Here Is Why
Short answer
A Sprinter that dies overnight usually has a parasitic draw from a module or accessory that will not power down, not a dead battery. Measuring the drain and tracing it to the source fixes the real cause instead of replacing good batteries.
Why a new battery does not fix it
If a module stays awake and pulls current all night, even a brand new battery drains by morning. Replacing the battery treats the symptom. The fix is finding what will not sleep.
How we trace a drain
We measure the overnight current draw and isolate it to the responsible circuit and module. On camper builds we also confirm the house and starting systems are wired so the auxiliary side cannot kill the starter battery. Vans that sit between trips are especially prone to this.
